What is ChildFund Sport For Development?

We are excited to introduce ChildFund Sport For Development! Our new brand will showcase how we are partnering across more countries to deliver more impact through sport. ChildFund Sport for Development will more accurately represent the full portfolio of what we do to leverage the power of sport to create social change.

Our Key Principles

Under ChildFund Australia’s guidance, ChildFund Sport For Development partnerships contribute to achieving gender equality, reducing inequality, and ending violence against children, reflecting targets within the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

ChildFund Sport For Development’s approach outlines seven key principles that we strive to maintain and evidence. We commit to:

1. Build resilience and inclusiveness;
2. Set safeguarding standards;
3. Create gender transformation;
4. Deliver curriculum-based learning;
5. Engage young leaders;
6. Leverage partnerships;
7. Collect and use evidence to improve.
